Project Description
Landscape design provided by Craig Stretch Creative Design
You could see the excitement in the office when the 6′ plans were first laid out. Someone asked if it was a commercial job based on the sheer size. It quickly became known as the leaf patio job.
Craig Stretch, the landscape designer, worked with the owner of the property to create a distinct design with a variety of textures, plants, and colour. With the patio work standing out as the most labour intensive part of the project.
When we started, the property was at the rough grade stage with empty lots on either side. Easy Access and consistently great weather aided the progress of reaching each milestone. Our Foreman Daniel took on the patio work himself. Daniel’s approach to shaping the leaves was impressive. His experience stands out immediately while watching him score the tops of the pavers in one fluid motion. Slicing curves and moulding the precast concrete. The challenge was keeping enough material on-site to keep him going.
